Cycling as possible treatment for Parkinson’s disease

Bicycles, is there anything they can’t do? Like I suspect you do, I subscribe to the idea that the list of what a bicycle cannot do is a very short one indeed, but this is a revelation nonetheless. Seeing Parkinson’s patients who can barely walk get on a bicycle and pedal off without a wobble is really quite astounding. The only thing I’ve ever seen treat Parkinson’s so quickly and effectively is cannabis, as this scene from Ride With Larry demonstrates.

Hmmm, bicycles and cannabis. I expect Parkinson’s is one disease I won’t have to worry about…
